If you choose not to get a high school diploma or can’t graduate because you have been behind in school too long, you may want to consider getting a GED (General Educational Development). A GED is usually treated as the same thing as a High School Diploma but not always. You may want to look at whether the school or college you want to go to will except a GED before you choose not to get a high school diploma. You may also want to find education programs that will accept a GED and find out what their score requirements are.
