We all know that college isn’t for everyone. Therefore it is important to find the career that fits you and your talents. You can check out the Nashville Career Advancement Center’s website (http://www.midtncareercenters.org) to learn about writing a resume, interviewing skills, finding a job that matches your talents, getting work experience, and searching for jobs, apprenticeships and internships.

Another place to look for employment opportunities is your local newspaper but the best way to find a job is by networking and talking to people. Most people get their first job through a family friend and once you have work experience then you can apply for other jobs.
